From 16th to 26th September Milan will host “MILANO XL – A Celebration of Italian creativity, an innovative and engaging project that will liven up the streets and squares of Milan during the fashion week through 7 massive, powerfully evocative installations across the city dedicated to the excellence of Italy’s craftsmanship and know-how.
Among these 7 installations, one will be dedicated to jewellery: “The Parlour of Jewels“, sets in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and realised in collaboration with Federorafi. “The Parlour of Jewels” will display a selections of women and men portraints from different eras wearing jewels made of pearls, diamonds, rubies, gold and precious stones that have been recreated in 3D to make these bright and colourful jewels pop out of the 2D paintings. Inside the octagonal structure created by these portrait, ther will be an exquisite exhibition of original jewels representing the best of Italian contemporary jewellery.
Three Barakà bracelets have been selected to be displayed inside “The Parlour of Jewels” as symbols of the Italian jewellery excellence, craftsmanship, care for details and technical innovation.
